INTRODUCING Jebediah and Trisha

Congratulations

Tegan Australian Service Dog Program

Updates soon

Hello Ange!

Jebediah says hello as well.  He now weighs approx. 10 lbs.

He is a happy, healthy fellow filled with personality plus.

Everyone he meets is so taken with him.

Jebediah sometimes get some eye drainage stains.  The vet initially gave some allergy drops as there was no infection.  I do keep the area clean.  Do you have any remedies to address the drainage stains?

Jebediah has very good leash manners.  He sits, waits and walks on command.  He has good retrevial skills.

We have been working with different toys and branching out to items that I drop.

Jebediah is fearless in familar surroundings and is building more confidence in new settings.  At first, he was not thrilled with the ocean.  The noisy waves slapping up on the beach would startle him and he would back away.  I started making him more comfortable with the sound as we sat out on the balcony.  Then I was able to carry him while I walked closer to the dunes.  Now, he scampers, chasing the albino crabs and dancing in the surf.

Jebediah has done some light shopping and outside dining.  I find as the Top Service Program suggests, it is best to start slow and build successes.

Everyday, I am more amazed on how wonderful a companion and motivator Jebediah is.  Life changes from a traumatic brain injury can sometimes be overwhelming, however when I look over at my "beloved friend", I feel there is nothing we can't do, if we stay the course.

The camera I ordered is on back order, so these are some pics from a friend.  The new camera will be able to take stills as well as videos.

Again, thank you for this wonderful opportunity.

Jebediah brings such joy to my life.

May more blessings come your way,

Tricia

Angela's Dream is to establish a Training Centre  where others  can learn to train their own Service Dogs. If you would like to sponsor a future service dog we are grateful for donations to help families with shipping.
